I am not an oxymoron! - there are edible toadstools !!! ( see the gallery of toadstools from my forest )
The phrase "edible toadstools" - I am not an oxymoron! I know well what I wrote :) In fact, there are several edible species. I dared to eat food from edible toadstools once in my life thanks to my father-in-law, who is a great mushroom picker for me.
These edible toadstools have no dots and can be found in a warmer part of Europe and Africa.
However, my forest is simply a paradise for toadstools, unfortunately, those not edible. Unfortunately, I will not make soup or scrambled eggs from them.
Despite everything, they captivate me with the color between the alleys and they smirk at me saying "take a picture". I can't hide they are very charming and attract attention with their fiery color.
Greetings

Although not eadible, they are lovely :) Esoecially at close-up shots, I love white spots on a red "hat"
Thank you. In real they look so magnificent, I like to go for a walk every day and just observe them. :)
Oh yes, they were invited to attract an attention in the grass ))
Totally ;)
Edible or not, the vivid color on these mushrooms are incredible. Thanks for sharing. My favorite pic is #5.

Good choice, it was hard to take a picture especially that the ground is still wet after the rain which we had a lot here :)
Thank you

They are in fact edible. They taste pretty good fresh, in small amounts. You could eat a whole one and not get sick. It would take a few to make you sick. If you prepare them properly they are harmless and good for the soul! My kitchen is full of them I post about them all the time! Beautiful pictures!

It was very bright day and I was laying on the ground under the mushroom. That way I figure out the shadow and click. Greetings
