Untitled Poem

A poem I wrote after the U.S. Presidential Election.

We tear at the tenderness of our soul
Pull the thread which joins us
Inch by inch the stitch comes undone
Our unity unhinged by an expansive divide
Separation of you and me
A distinction that serves no real purpose
That is, other than to separate the truth
The truth of all things
Of time and space
Of mass and energy
Of passion and and conviction
What menders may make
Of these disjointed times

I like to think that I am trying to cultivate community in my own non-digital-life just as Steemit is cultivating it's own community here. Congrats to the $8 dollar Steemit coin!

excellent poem which is the reality of what is happening these days due to bad politicking. Great to see steem rise! now many steemians will be more active working harder due to rise of steem. nice photos. upped
