Black Plumage
BLACK PLUMAGE The swan is thought of as a beautiful bird that is white. What about the black swan? Black swan has mostly black plumage, but its outer primary and secondary feathers are white. These feathers are largely concealed when the bird has its wings folded, but can be seen in flight.
