life

everyday you wake up and follow the same routine as yesterday, every now and then we get to have a bit of change. resiliant like the dandilion we sprout up and begin anew without even thinking. take a moment to notice the world around you. today i did and found my silver linning of the day, and yes i thanked god for allowing me one more day and i thanked gaia for giving me such beauty to behold. here are a few snaps from my world.

these are baby robins. their parents made the nest atop a wreath my neighbour had fashioned on her brick wall near her patio. their parents are so very dedicated and protecting, constantly feeding them and watching anyone who gets near. infact the daddy was rather upset when i took these snaps that he kept getting closer to me and then to the near tree. his way of saying "touch my babies i'll poke yer eyes out human!"

now this is another nest at another neighbours. you see the nest is right by her front and only door outside. when she saw the mum and dad starting to build they knocked the nest out hoping she wouldnt build again..but she kept comming back. so her son put the small box on the lamp thinking an object may also deter the mad birds. but they decided the box was even better and more solid. the reson they didnt want her there was that they didnt want to disturb her being so close to the door..but obviously she was fine with it.
