AMSTERDAM - The Venice of the north 🌷

In love with beautiful days and stunning places!

This picture was taken on my trip to Amsterdam last December. I immediately fell in love with all this cute little houses and houseboats.

As soon as our plane had landed, our next destination was “Amsterdam Centraal” from where we took a nice short walk to the appartement we had booked via airbnb. Our host was really welcoming and friendly, and gave us some tipps & recommendations for our trip.

On Friday we just strolled through the city, went shopping and discovered some attractions.
On Saturday, we went to a super cool peddlers market, in Amsterdams famous IJ-Hallen, where I found sooo many cool things. But sadly I could not buy many of them, as there was only so much space left in my backpack.

In the afternoon, as soon as it got dark, we went on a canal cruise to see the Amsterdam Light Festival, which was sooo beautiful. If you ever happen to have the chance to visit Amsterdam in December, you need to have a look at all the stunning lights in Amsterdam's canals.
Sunday was over soon, because our plane was leaving Schiphol at noon already. So we just enjoyed some nice breakfast before going straight to the airport by train.
