THE SCORPION ON A BURDOCK LEAF - PHOTO BY SIX YEAR OLD RED-PEPPER
This is the first photo in this series.
Yes, the @little-peppers have certain access to the gear that @papa-pepper has accumulated. In fact, when they record video or photograph things, @papa-pepper gives them a lot of instruction and guidance. Recently, on their photo shoots for a 4H photo contest, they produced some amazing photos.
Since they could only submit three photos each into the contest, we had to choose the best. This photo actually did not make the cut, although it is a great shot of a scorpion on a burdock leaf.
Red-Pepper, on the left side of the photo above, took the cover photo for this post. Over the next six days we'll show you the three photos that each girl entered into the contest. We hope that you enjoy them.

Great foto. Scoorpion . Remember wind off change . God luck @little-papper. I am waiting....
Beautiful....
But as beautiful as these scorpions are, they scare me. Recently, I've been seeing a kit if them in my house.
I don't know what to do to stop them from entering my home..
Please can you help me out?
Any ideas? @papa-pepper and @little-peppers
I hate them too! If you don't have small animals, sticky traps stop them. They make poisons in spray form to stop spiders, thay should stop them too. Go to your local farm supply store, they are a wealth of information for DIYers. I bet a spray of peppermint and Neem oil will stop them, mix it strong, and spray your steps coming in. Boric acid works well on ants, might hurt scorpions too. Diatomaceous Earth is hard on any bugs with an exoskeleton, acts like tiny sharp pieces of glass, and slices them open, then dries them out internally
Good Luck, and good hunting !
Wow thanks. This is really helpful....
Would try it out ASAP
Good, don't get stung!
