A small pond

The water in a small pond was drying up, and because of that, someone went down there with a small net to catch the fish. He was catching fish in the pond since the water level was low. In such a situation, if too many people went in to catch fish, the fish might scatter and hide under the mud. That’s why he was catching fish alone. He had taken a small net and was trying to catch the fish with it.

I was standing above, watching him search for fish. However, he was catching only a few because fish had already been caught from that pond once before, which is why fewer fish were being found. But if the entire pond is drained, maybe more fish could be found there.

Right now, fish are being caught in many places because water levels are going down, so people are trying to catch fish from everywhere.
