Nostalgia and Vandalism

Because of the film series Babylon Berlin a whole street was closed in the Karl- Marx Allee.
The magnificent buildings of the former GDR regime were restyled in 1920 style.
Yesterday I had introduced you to the fleet of cars and today it goes to more exterior facades of the buildings.
Of course, there is also a security service and unfortunately you can not get close to everything. As you can see at the end of this post, this service is not installed for nothing.

The" Hotel Excelsior " is kept in noble red.
Normally here is the Parger Hopfenstube, which is no longer visible from the outside thanks to the optical reconstruction.

In the display you can see thick pearl necklaces and Bohemian crystal glass.

As you can see on this picture, there was already an attempt to break a window and therefore the window was barricaded with wood.
