The best sight

Perhaps I did not mention it earlier, and the fact is that other one of my passions is to travel!
It fills to me with the enthusiasm more to save to go out of the trip than to buy things; last year I had the fortune of visiting Rio de Janeiro... undoubtedly it is the cidade maravilhosa, so much that I consider to return and I have left a pair of years.
I took this picture from «PEDRA GIVES GÁVEA» it is a monolith that measures 842mts sendm. in its highest point placed in the Bar that gives to Tijuca, in Rio de Janeiro to the Southeast of Brazil. It is the biggest monolith of the world, on a coast. The rock forms of gneiss and granite, and due to its position, the size and the place on the coast, as well as the occupation absence on behalf of the vegetation, they have been eroded strongly by the elements.

It receives its name, which means stone of the topsail, due to the similar one of the top part of the rock with one of these sails.

if one day you visit Rio de Janeiro, do not forget to do this incredible passage, you do not go away to repent!

¡Quizás no lo mencioné antes, y el hecho es que otra de mis pasiones es viajar!
Me llena del entusiasmo mas ahorrar para salir del viaje que comprar cosas; el año pasado tuve la fortuna de visitar Río de Janeiro... indudablemente es el cidade maravilhosa, tanto que considero volver y quedarme un par de años.
Tomé esta foto desde «PEDRA DA GÁVEA» es un monolito que mide 842mts sendm. en su punto más alto, colocado en la Barra que da a Tijuca, en Río de Janeiro al sudeste de Brasil. Es el monolito más grande del mundo, en una costa. La roca se forma de gneis y granito, y debido a su posición, la talla y el lugar en la costa, así como la ausencia de ocupación de parte de la vegetación, han sido con fuerza erosionados por los elementos.
Recibe su nombre, el que significa piedra de la gavia, debido a la similar de la parte superior de la roca con una de estas velas.

si alguna vez visitas Rio de Janeiro, no olvides hacer esta increíble travesía, no te vas arrepentir!
