Cactuses - Botanic Garden

Old man cactus grows in the wild in Mexico, mostly in the states of Guanajuato and Hidalgo.

One of the popular cold-hardy agave is Agave Parryi (Parry’s Agave). Grows up to 90 cm tall.

Echinocactus grusonii also called golden barrel cactus. It can live to be up to 100 years old. First flowers appear after many years later. The cactus is from east-central Mexico.
