The lens I am going to write about is my favorite one. The most amazing gift I could have possibly gotten from my loving boyfriend, that time when he wanted to show me how great photography as a hobby could be. He, himself is a freelance photographer, and as a massive lover of cameras, lenses, flashes, and so on, he gave me the lens I truly fell in love with when I first captured the picture with it. I literally take it with me everywhere I am going to, even I don't know if I am going to use it. And, sometimes, I don't, but it is not staying home :). Believe me! It is very easy to put your camera with a lens into your bag or have it on your shoulder hanging just like that. Also, it was a first thing I packed into my bag on my far away holiday to Asia.

So here I am after three years of shooting, learning and knowing my camera and this spectacular lens. Honestly, the best time I had, was catching all possible moments of my trips and life occasions of my loving ones and friends with it. I am impressed how nice colors are coming out from photos when you see them after they are captured, and if you like using manual lenses as much as I love, you are going to love it too.

Soooo…… Japan lens TAKUMAR 1:1.8/55 is the winner when it goes about my taste. To be more specific I enjoy seeing a little bit of blur background in my pictures, and this lens is an expert in blurriness if you want it in your background. The main image you are focusing on, is staying focused.

You can buy this lens for 60£ on Ebay or look for it somewhere else maybe cheaper.
And, Yes, I have more lenses in my collection at home now, even automatic, but I simply have to recommend this specific one, because it is a treasure in my eyes.
