There are two seasons in Milwaukee...

...winter and construction season. The snow is gone, and the latter is in full swing.

I took these photos in a 3-block radius while out on a lunch hour walk. I typically cover a two-mile stretch to and from my office. I’m fortunate to work in a walkable part of the city. Getting out and moving around helps break up the day.

It's also fun to see the construction workers doing their thing. It's a world I know nothing about, and I enjoy those brief glimpses into other jobs, other lives.
