Today we will continue my trip to Spain, we already knew how the capital city was in Madrid, with 2 giant soccer teams, incredible people, a city that really ALL THE WORLD should visit

Let's start.

Everything starts because my family lives in Zaragoza, a city that really is very quiet, very good to live, where I think they are the most friendly people in the country, visiting Zaragoza was something I was looking forward.

I had read a lot about this city, which is the opposite part of crowded Madrid, a "small" city, without fear of being wrong one of the largest churches in all of Spain "La iglesia de la Virgen del Pilar"

As a catholic and civil engineer see a structure of this magnitude and of so many years ago, in the state that it is, when entering you feel an atmosphere that you can only say "Wow that impressive".

You can see my amazement by being in a place that makes you feel peace and happiness. Incredible experience

Curiosities:

I want to tell that the cathedral was built just when the Virgin Mary appeared to the Apostle James and there they left a "Pilar""

In 1936 the temple was bombed and guess... the pillar did not suffer any damage.

One of the things that I liked most about Zaragoza was its history. I will tell you about the Rio Ebro "Ebro River" (a river that crosses 9 km through Zaragoza through 10 bridges, but there is one that is the oldest of all the stone bridge, a bridge located near the Virgen del Pilar temple. The Ebro River is the largest in Spain, in a way that everyone can understand, the river that carries the most water in Spain.

The Downtown of Zaragoza is a combination of old buildings with incredible stores, where you can see that it is a place to spend all day, I went in January-February where there was an incredible cold and something that if Zaragoza has is that there is always a wind that blows your clothes, now imagine a cold of 6 degrees with winds of 30km / h.

Puente del Tercer Milenio "Third Millennium Bridge":

Something impressive to see, you can cross it by bike. An image that leaves you impressed and probably surprised that this is another bridge that crosses the Ebro River, this shows the two faces of Zaragoza, one the old Zaragoza with its Muslim palaces and the Stone Bridge and another the Third Millennium Bridge and The Expo Zaragoza, which is what we continue with.

Expo Zaragoza:

Water and Sustainable Development. Theme of the Expo Zaragoza 2008, this theme is taken because water is a scarce resource and is the most important for the survival of the human being, this enclosure is constituted by many buildings, architects, artists, landscapers or anyone can pass the day there, enjoying the landscape outdoors, really it is one of the places you must visit if you are in Zaragoza, a view, an unforgettable day and an incredible experience.

If you want a day in the open air visit the José Antonio Labordeta Great Park, it is the biggest park in Zaragoza, it has amazing views and fountains. A place that I definitely recommend visiting to spend the day, and have fun with the family.

I hope you like Visiting Zaragoza, a very familiar city, very well structured, with many places to visit.
