End of a working day

It was the end of yet another working day. Looking out from the window of the ward, I saw a magnificent sunset. Beautiful hues of orange permeated the sky of darkening clouds. Not often do we get the time to stop and pause for a minute just to marvel at the ingenuity of nature's artwork. But when we do, we are invariably awed by the masterpiece, only to then sigh in regret, for the beauty lasts but a fleeting second, too ephemeral to be kept and admired.
