A story for yesterday

in #photography7 years ago

I've been travelling around, searching for forgotten places and it wasn't that hard to be honest, the death is everywhere in those places.
I was trying to see the history of every place and hear it whisper to me, it was amazing standing in the middle of the night, knowing that once upon this place was fulfilled with live, with somebody's emotions, thoughts, love and each place was connected with somebody's history.IMG_2929.JPG
The first place I'm taking you with me was a bakery, this is what's written on the sign. Actually I wasn't able to get in without breaking something that's way the picture is only outside, but according to the local peoples' stories and library recordings this bakery made it's last bread 17 years ago. The bakery was making bread for almost everyone in the village and it wasn't that big as you can see from the picture, there were 6 persons doing night and day shifts. Location Northern Bulgaria
And here comes the next one.IMG_2943.JPG
This was the same village local school and after doing some researches the school was closed 13 years ago it was educating people from first grade till eighth grade or before college in our country it has more than 18 classrooms and it had two shifts a day because of limited rooms and too much kids going to school here. Lets take you to the halls.

While standing in the middle of the main hallway where not much long ago kids were running into the highway of knowledge and learning new abilities like making friends exploring the world around them and seeing themselves from the prism of growing I felt a bit sad, because of the country politics killing this killing the will to live in a village, educate yourself there and living as a normal person outside of the urban cities which are actually stuffed with billion people and living always on a hurry in small boxes, nothing personal but living near the nature, rivers, forests knowing how to grow your food is not that bad actually so why did they kill it?! It's actually none of my business right? Trying to care about education and having young kids grown where they feel free not where they have to feel caged. IMG_2954.JPG
Some more hallway leaving me speachless and making me imagine what it was once upon. Time has been frozen here there is no tomorrow but it sure remembers yesterdays' lessons. IMG_2962.JPG
It's pointless to show you all of the classrooms, but imagine this one is the finest, it's almost in order. Here the kids used to spend their time gaining knowledge, now the only thing it does is to be junkyard and maybe shelter for homeless animals in the winter, which may also gain some knowledge.
I wanna ask is this what it's going to be everywhere from now on? Are we okay with killing the small parts of the world and making people move to places they don't belong to? Is this the meaning of civilization and modern world living in small boxes stuffed with billions of people killing the nature and the knowledge of how to live among the nature without being scared of it and respoding to nature as it's a big threat? We have to act and stop acting like it isn't happening we've done enough damage to the world and it's not going backwards we've killed a lot of the animal beings, why do we want to kill ourselves and everything that we only think that belongs to us.
Leave a comment and see you soon with more places.
