Chris Cornell's Grave Site Photos
I was in Los Angeles recently and I made it a priority to visit Chris Cornell's grave. Chris Cornell and Soundgarden have always held a special place in my heart.
Growing up I was pretty sheltered from the world, and specifically "good" music (except for the Beatles!). But that all changed the first time I heard Soundgarden. I recall I was in my early teens and there was a television show that played music videos from local Northwest bands. The video for Jesus Chris Pose came and it blew my young mind. The song was so heavy and intense and Chris' vocals were epic. That song opened the doors for me to explore heavy music and the eclectic taste I now have for music.
RIP Chris Cornell. No one sings like you anymore.
I grew up listening to bands like Soundgarden in the early 1990s back in the Nirvana grunge era. It’s a shame. There will never be era of music like that ever again.

As I scrolled through my feed and found this, I was listening to "Before We Disappear" in one of his live recording videos on Youtube. Might as well drop the link.
Even with a very hopeful view of the afterlife, I miss him, for all he's brought to our lives. Kind of feels like I got to visit the place as well, so thanks for that.
