[CROATIA] A Trip to the Plitvice Lakes National Park | #5
Gavanovac Lake is the second highest lake of four lakes in
Plitvice Lower Lakes area, located in a fairly deep canyon,
on an altitude of 518 meters (~ 1699.47 feet) above the sea level.
It's also one of the smallest lakes in the whole Plitvice Lakes system
– it covers the total area of just under 0.8 hectares (~ 1.98 acres),
with a maximum depth of 10 meters (~ 32.81 feet).
The lake's green or blue color depends on
daily light and brightness of the sky.
