Hanging out in Medellín, Colombia.
This is a selection of pictures that I've been taken in my time living in the city of Medellín, Colombia. The pictures have been taken in different times in 2019, I took those during different activities like going to work, going out with family or going out there alone for any reason you can imagine.
Medellín is a beautiful city with mostly kind people and that's something that people like me, coming from a country where good manners don't exist anymore, appretiate with a lot of love. Let's go:
This was the first photograph I took when I went out by myself the first time in the city. I was so happy of being there but at the same time anxious about my family still living in hell, I mean what my country became.
In my second adventure I met this couple of guys who were working at a bakery and wanted to record latin music. We placed an appointment for next day to show them a music track o see if they wanted it. I went back home and composed two tracks. After many reunions and modifications to the tracks we never got to any deal and I stopped going, but I was able to sold one of those tracks months later.
This picture was done in the center of the city, in the surroundings of the San Antonio metro station that is the very spine bone of this place. In some part you can see the trolley car rail road, that by the way. have a really beautiful train design. In this place there's a lot of comercial activity and I also have seen a lot of US tourists with guides speaking with loudspeakers in a really sad english. I don't know why tourist go to those crowded places when there's a lot of beautiful places with less people to choose and visit.
This is an sculpture in the entrance of a cemetery. It was crazy the way I was able to make this picture, they didn't wanted me to show the graveyard or any tomb, I tried my best and when I was going out they asked me to show the pictures, when they saw my pics they said "Sorry, we have to check that you respect the graves, have a good day".
One of the best pictures I made near the airport for one of the airplanes. I can't remember if it was landing or taking off. I took this picture through the fence, with the plane as far as 300 meters at least.
All fruits have different properties to heal our body, so when you see me eating different fruits is because I like I'm going to die. My favorite fruits are peaches and grapes but I have to say that when I feel bad with my kidneys or liver I eat an entire watermelon and I feel better in one or two days, that fruit is something designed to heal.
This one was done from a metro station at the end of sunset. Sometimes people forget to stop and have a look of the amazing enviroment they have around. Medellín has amazing and beautiful places.
A dual view of the inside and outside of the bus where I used to travel everyday to my workplace as a music producer. A shame that the owner just wanted people to work for free, so I left the place. The views are beautiful in that road.
A tattoo artist preparing his original design to start a session with a friend meanwhile I recorded everthing with multiple cameras. In the city there's a lot of tattoo stores and I entered this one offering my video production (after visiting 4 other stores that said "no thanks") finally have a beautiful "yes".
This is the outside of the mall where we used to do everything at first. Then we moved to other place but I remained enchanted by this side of the city, so when we get the chance I'm going back to the zone.
A road to a tourist place named Paisa Town.
I took this picture when I was in Paisa Town with my family, it was our first walk together in the city and it was lovely because a month earlier I was so afraid of the conflict in our country with high possibilities of never seen them again.
This one has different places on sight from the very center of the city to a zone named Manrique and top of Aranjuez. Sometimes the city has no fog at all and you can see until where your eyes do. It's a shame that this day it was foggy and cold.
A wide view of the right side of the city. This one was also made from Paisa Town in our visit.
One made a little to the south-east of the city with the main frame being a zone named El Poblado.
Night shot in one of the streets that I walked until late at night, it was always the same, clean, silent and safe.
The view from this mountain is just amazing. All hours have different views, colors, and depth to our eyes.
This is a contrary view of the previous picture, from the mountain in the far front.
El Poblado is one of the most wealthy places of Medellin, with malls, parks, nightclubs, hotels and nice places everywhere. Despite I really loved the architecture, building design or the way everything is distributed.

My only regret when I visted Medellin, was not giving myself more than a week there! I actually shot a small longboard video there. It's still one of my favorites!
