Weh Island; a "virgin" refreshing holiday destination in Aceh

Situated at the most western tip of Indonesia, Weh Island [Sabang] is one of the best tourism destinations across Indonesia. Sabang is only 1.5 hour trip by ferry from Banda Aceh. As the zero kilometer of Indonesia, the island is prominent for its coral and sea garden. The availability of underwater garden which is rich by fish and coral, Sabang has been really known for decades. The beauty of sea garden and its habitats has been really an attraction for visitors to consider visiting Sabang.

Although it i only 45 minutes [by express boat] or 1.5 hour [ferry] to reach the Weh Island, but many people inland in Aceh do not have experience visiting it yet. The unfamiliarity of the island for local people is a reason meanwhile people [nationally and internationally] know Sabang as one of the best holiday destinations. The advantages of its location at the top of Sumatra Island, Sabang is surrounded by the ocean. It benefits the island by having beautiful beaches and coasts.

Variety species of fish has been an important magnet for people to visit Sabang. Experiencing the diving of snorkeling to observe fish has been pretty famous for all the time. The availability both facilities attract people to annually visit Sabang in occasions. Therefore, the local government continually promotes the beauty of the island via various mechanisms.

Vitising Sabang is not expensive. We need to plan and consider very well our lodging in the island. Sabang has many types of lodging. It has also different rate and services. The view is considered the most affected in term of rate. Having the sea view is probably the most expensive. Early morning view is the most priceless. It is extremely beautiful.

Sabang is the destination you need to visit. You will not be disappointed. You will love to be back. The sand, the beach is wonderful.
