Undiscovered beauty

Story behind the photo: My good friend Megan and I were walking around downtown and I noticed these interesting flowers. To me, they reminded me of some type of lantern of Asian influence. I told her to stand under them and look up like she was basking in their glow. Sometimes I feel people find the need to take pictures in beautiful locations and miss the beauty in their own backyard. Sure taking pictures by the Golden Gate Bridge and on Mt Tam are amazing but there is a time to slow down and notice the beauty around you.
