My escape
About the photo: over the summer I went to Hawaii with my family. My family and I are from Hawaii so going there meant visiting all our family and friends. I was fortunate enough to be able to stay with my aunt and uncle on the island of Oahu. While I stayed with them they showed me the local side of Oahu away from Honolulu. My Uncle took me boogie boarding and being from Northern California, boogie boarding is a lot different. In Northern California the waves barely break 2 feet and just gently bring you into the beach but on the beach in Hawaii we were dropping in from 6 foot waves with a hard shore break. Anyway back to the photo. After our boogie boarding adventure, we were driving along the coast back to the house when we saw this breathtaking view and decided to pull over and capture the moment.
