Dogsledding is definitely not common in Colorado. The couple that runs this one actually spends much of the year in Alaska and trains dogs that go on to run in the Iditarod and I think races in Canada too. I believe they spend the winter in Colorado though, allowing "southerners" an opportunity to enjoy the experience.
