Travel #7: Watching the golden sunset in Lanta

Lanta is the Thai island where you go to relax, unwind, and get lost in the nature and stunning beaches. Out of the five islands I've visited here so far, this one is the most intact, and having tourists only since last few years. What a great place to get some inspiration for Steemit! For me it is also a place to discover and to get lots of nice surprises. Sunset is only the one of them.

After getting up early and spending a few hours in the bus to Lanta, still feeling cold from the AC in Krabi, I decided to be lazy on the beach for the rest of the day. Beach sounds as a better place for recovering than any room, right?

My choice was the beach closest to my place - Long Beach at just a couple of minutes walk. After getting a mango shake, I've put my towel below some tree, put some music on my phone, and felt ready to fall asleep in the nice shade.

I could not really fall asleep, as I was so amazed by the whole atmosphere and view. I was just taking pictures feeling blessed... :)

And it was for good - as I eventually attended the most beautiful golden sunset I've ever seen! So, here is how it looked like, gradually.

1. Just basics :D

2. A little bit of the view to the right

3. Back to basics :p There is already a little bit of a golden tone

4. Back to a-little-bit-of-the-view-to-the-right. Notice nice light-pink clouds reflecting in the clean, steady water

5. Nice combination of the light blue, gold, and orange. I also love to catch the shapes of the people in front of the sunset...

6. ... and to pay more attention to the fluffy, imposing clouds. Don't they look like a very cold contrast to the warm tones around the sun and the sea?

7. I don't know why, but this reminds me of a caramel toping! :D

8. Now the Sun looks smaller, like it is about to say good night soon

9. But it decides to stay, after it almost burnt the caramel toping! And the random couple sits in the sand looking the sunset without knowing that they will be mentioned publicly, haha

And now the party begins :D

11. The couple laid down on their bellies like they're in some beach cinema! Haha :p

12. Are you jealous? I would be. Haha :p

13. There is a little bit of pink again

14. I'm thinking that the movie is coming to the end, and I am already ready to stretch

15. Just... and empty bottle of beer... nah...

16. Almost the whole sky is purple a little bit on the left!

17. And now the last strike of the color-challenging Sun :)
