Coffee (Aeropress) + Photos!
AeroPress
Here is a fun photo series showing the basic steps of making AeroPress coffee next to a waterfall here in the Aysén region of Chile.
I love a good cup of hot fresh coffee when I'm out in the mountains. I find the AeroPress the best tool for the job. It's virtually unbreakable and makes a really good cup of Joe!
The steps are really basic:
- heat water to just below boiling (204-208° F.)
- measure a heaping spoon of fine (espresso) ground coffee
- add the water and coffee to the syringe. Either stir quickly with a spoon or swirl the water into the grounds as you pour.
- quickly place the plunger on top to create a seal
- wait 3-4 minutes
- plunge slowly (this process should take 20-30 seconds)
- enjoy
