[ENG-SPN] Of the beauty of the moments / De la belleza de los momentos

I fully agree with that great master who was Hermann Hesse, when he asserted that beauty truly reveals itself to us in those occasional states of contemplative innocence, in which we aspire to absolutely nothing. That is why, like him, I also sincerely believe that there are moments, of course, that are worth their weight in gold and that cross paths with a person's destiny when they are least expected, who knows, maybe as a kind of reinstatement that the lottery of Providence grants us, in order to relieve our conscience of that social rot, which, in many cases, tries to make others the guinea pig where to pour the different poisons of its miserable darkness.

Enjoying life and above all, intensely enjoying the small pleasures that it quietly but cordially provides us with, are rights that are within the reach of anyone who has a minimum of sensitivity to appreciate them and also, the integrity enough to express them, without worrying at all about gratuitous and persistent criticism, surely conceived - not without sin, like Mary - from the miserable pillars of stupidity and ignorance.

Anyone with a modicum of common sense knows perfectly well that no one knows himself better than himself; so that even if all the rain falls on me -as a well-known song says- the drops of water will continue to slide off me and of course, I will continue to enjoy the beauty and those little pleasures that life gives me, above all, because I have very clear that for this I came to the world, to enjoy it and not let myself sink into misery, always keeping in mind a fundamental lesson: that both life and beauty are dangerously fleeting.

Coincido plenamente con aquel gran maestro que fue Hermann Hesse, cuando aseveraba que la belleza verdaderamente se nos revela en aquellos ocasionales estados de inocencia contemplativa, en los que no ambicionamos absolutamente nada. Por eso, como él, creo sinceramente, también, que hay momentos, desde luego, que valen su peso en oro y que se cruzan en el destino de una persona cuando menos se los espera, quién sabe, si quizás como una especie de reintegro especial que nos otorga la lotería de la Providencia, con el fin de aliviar a nuestra consciencia de esa podredumbre social, que, en muchos casos, pretende hacer de los demás el conejillo de indias donde verter los diferentes venenos de su miserable oscuridad.

Gozar de la vida y sobre todo, gozar intensamente de los pequeños placeres con los que ésta, callada pero cordialmente nos proporciona, son derechos que están al alcance de cualquiera que tenga un mínimo de sensibilidad para apreciarlos y también, la suficiente entereza como para expresarlos, sin preocuparle, en absoluto, las críticas gratuitas y persistentes, seguramente concebidas -no sin pecado, como María- desde los miserables pilares de la estupidez y de la ignorancia.

Cualquier persona con un mínimo de sentido común, sabe perfectamente que nadie se conoce mejor que a sí mismo; de manera, que aunque toda la lluvia caiga sobre mí -como dice una conocida canción- las gotas de agua me seguirán resbalando y por supuesto, continuaré disfrutando de la belleza y de esos pequeños placeres que la vida me otorga, sobre todo, porque tengo muy claro que para eso vine al mundo, para disfrutarlo y no dejarme hundir en la miseria, teniendo siempre presente una lección fundamental: que tanto la vida como la belleza, son peligrosamente fugaces.
