Two Race Horses in Portugal
What follows are some pictures of our two race horses based here in Central Portugal.
Both of them are thoroughbred horses which are considered "hot-blooded" horses that are known for their agility, speed and spirit.
Our horses arrived here in Central Portugal some two months back and one had travelled from Aberdeenshire in Scotland and the other one travelled from just outside London. Our horses had a bit of a shock in the heat. Here it was 43 degrees centigrade back in Scotland they struggled to reach 20 degrees sometimes.
Our horses have not seen mud for a while shall we say and last night the heavens opened, the temperature has dropped and the boys went out to play.
