Have you ever had one of them days that just seem to go by with out you really thinking about it, a life is a blur moment. When you stare off into the distance not really paying attention to anything around you just thinking about nothing but so focused, just empty of thoughts? All of a sudden you noticed something, maybe it was someone who was sitting next to your "spaced out point" and thought you were staring at them (that has happen before) or perhaps it was just sitting down eating a snack while looking at the water hypnotizing you.

That's relaxing your mind is kind of in a state of hypnosis to really not think about anything yet, let your mind release off into the distance. If you're going to the lake grab a towel or something you can kick back on and just lay down and relax, stare off into nothing and just let your mind go while watching the world go by.

Maybe you're at home and just looking at some art, you're just staring at it, don't try to think about the art let it fill your mind with nothing because what seems like effortless work to you is really doing a lot to help you understand the art in front of you. No resistance is the direct perception of the world.
