Stockenboi Waterfall / Wasserfall Stockenboi
On my last ride on a motorcycle over the Mountain Pass Windische Höhe a few days ago I came across the Stockenboi Waterfall once again. |
Auf meiner letzten Fahrt mit dem Motorrad über die Windische Höhe vor einigen Tagen bin ich wieder am Stockenboier Wasserfall vorbeigekommen. |

Of course, I stopped and took a few photos, because of the rainfalls there was enough water flowing over the rocks. | Natürlich bin ich stehengeblieben und habe ein paar Fotos geschossen, nachdem wegen der Regenfälle auch genügend Wasser über die Felsen geflossen ist. |

At the waterfall there is enough space for a few cars on the other side of the road, and to the left of the waterfall also a nice little place with a table and wooden benches invites to a rest. | Beim Wasserfall gibt es auf der anderen Straßenseite genügend Platz für ein paar Autos und links vom Wasserfall lädt auch ein nettes Plätzchen mit einem Tisch und Holzbänken zu einer kleinen Rast ein. |

Spectacular country. :-)

This waterfall is right next to the street and there is a table with two benches to have a rest, but all the times when I have been there, nobody else was there. That was great for me, because I could take my time photographing and enjoying the waterfall :)
Thank you so much, that you like the photos, @saboin 😊
Wow! Very refreshing scenery with waterfall! The forest is looking green! The weather must be very nice fur the ride. Life is beautiful!

During the days we have very good and warm weather these days, and in the evenings there's usually a little thunderstorm and it might rain over night, but the next day is fine again ... so, yes, the weather is very nice for riding a motorbike :)
Thank you for your nice comment, and that you like my photos, dear @kaminchan 😊
Large waterfalls are more attractive than all other smaller waterfalls.!

More attractive maybe sometimes, but I like the smaller waterfalls often much better, because they are more beautiful in my mind, and when you zoom in, you often cannot tell, if it is a small or a large one.
Thank you very much, @akhimoni 😊
Flowering waters form threads... Charming! ❤

I like to experiment with long exposure photography, and in my opinion, most of the times the picture looks more pleasing, than when you freeze the water flow.
Thank you so much for your nice comment, dear @zirochka 😊
WOw those falls are amazing with the different levels of falls and captured so beautifully
I like this waterfall somehow - one reason is, that nobody is there whenever I am there ;) Next time I want to try to climb up the forest on the right side of the fall. Maybe there is more to see, or I get a better view on these little cascades, when I am higher up :)
Thank you so much JJ, have a great day 😊
Nobody being there when you are is a big plus in my mind the kind of places I love , would be cool to see what you can find climbingup into the forest
At first I misread it and thought you were going to climb up a tree inthe forest, although that could give a cool perspective climbing a tree with your camera gear may not be a good idea so going up intot he forest is a better idea
You to have a great day
The times, when we Austrian have been climbing on trees are gone - we live in houses with water toilets - soon we will get electric energy too, and some say, the internet will come to us also, whatever this is ;) lol
No, I don't climb on trees anymore :) The forest is steep - this is why I wrote "climb" :)
WOW you get electricity soon times are sure changing :) I must be behind then as up until I hit 50, I would always be tempted to and often did climb trees, I guess it took till 50 till that part of the kid in me grew up LOL
I realized that what you meant about it being steep going up but my rain went off at a tangent as it often does
I don't know when, but I stopped to climb on trees much earlier, although I had to climb a tree sometimes later, because my kids had thrown something on a tree while playing and someone had to pull it down ;)
You just got sensible quicker than i did, if something got stuck in a tree and y wife wasn’t around I would probably try to climb it and get it down LOL
If needed, I would climb, of course, but I don't think, my wife would climb - I have never seen her climbing on a tree, and I know her about about 30 years.

I love the longer exposures with water (more times than not) as it lends a softness, leaning towards a much different look than the freeze frame look.
Softer, dreamier, almost romantic looking. Or a place that invites those feelings - I am sure they would be welcome. Love these shots, especially the last one!
Thank you for sharing!
!tip
I do also like the second photo more, because these many small cascades look much better to me, than one single big waterfall.
I try to make the long exposures of waterfalls not too long, so that you still can see the water flowing and some movement, but at the same time somehow softer and dreamier looking, as you say 😊
Thank you so much again for your nice words and the tip, Denise :)
I do even forget about these, when I get one myself ;) But a tip for a tip gives zero, so you get from me one more !BEER - the next big valued token, hopefully 😉
Haha! Thank you! I agree! One for one zeros it out and means nothing. This will be the next big one!!! Who doesn't love a beer???
I agree about the waterfall. I love to see the motion of the cascading water, but, allowing for the softness, really adds another who dimension to it.
So well done. Have a most fabulous day!
Thanks a lot again, Denise, and I wish you a great day too 😊
... and I must try this one too, because it didn't work for me lately 😉
!ENGAGE 100
Thank you!! It worked!
OK, great :)
I have used the token together with the beer and/or the tip. Maybe this was the reason. Now I know more :)
Perhaps! I have never tried them together. Have a great evening!
Must be so, have a great evening too :)
