The Lake Windeben is next to the Nockalm Road at about 1,900 meters above sea level (6,200 ft). | Der Windebensee liegt neben der Nockalmstraße auf etwa 1.900 m Seehöhe (6,200 ft). |

In the summer I made a motorbike tour in the Nock Mountains and of course made a few more pictures of this beautiful road and mountains besides the already shown photos. | Im Sommer habe ich eine kleine Motorradtour durch die Nockberge gemacht und natürlich außer den bereits damals gezeigten Fotos noch ein paar weitere Bilder von dieser wunderschönen Straße und Gegend gemacht. |

The Nockalm Road is about 35 kilometers (22 miles) long and runs through 52 bends and many other turns at a maximum slope of 12% between the villages Innerkrems and Reichenau. | Die Nockalmstraße ist etwa 35 Kilometer lang und verläuft durch 52 Kehren (Kärntnerisch "Reidn" genannt) und vielen weiteren Kurven und einer maximalen Steigung von 12% zwischen den Ortschaften Innerkrems und Reichenau. |

There's no cut - the other half is the gravel parking ;)
Actually, they do take much care about the road and are inspecting it a few times a day, because there are so many motorbikes on the road when the weather is nice, and even a small stone in a turn could cause an acccident.

This mountain area is really beautiful and the road is one of the nicest alpine roads to drive by car or ride on a motorbike :)

Today the sun seems to be making an appearance I actually saw blue skies briefly before work this morning, its kind of !DERANGED frustrating though I have Meetings pretty much all day today so will have no time for a walk

So, the sun comes and you don't have time for her? That's !DERANGED bad, but the same happened here - I have seen blue sky and the sun, but I was driving with my son on the motorway and couldn't stop. Now it is evening and dark outside.

Ohh yeah so !DERANGED and so frustrating, haven’t even had time for steemit till now and only a short break between meetings but at least the day is going fast
The sun I saw signs of briefly while out to grab lunch but like you I didnt have time to take photos

There are waves in beautiful places. Don't come here... maybe you could go to the Greek isles? or around there. There are good waves in winter. I've seen photos...

I'm just joking - you have told me about it already, but the waves look so cool anyway.
My wife would ask me if I'm !DERANGED if I said I want to make holidays in Greece in Winter ;)
Maybe in a few years, when I'm retired I can make such journeys, and I do know a few more places where I want to go then, but until then I have to take care of my holidays.

This area where i live is super crowded. A few days of the year the waves are good.
Yes, I think you have told me that a while ago. We have such crowded beaches in Italy - I don't go there because of the crowds, which mostly come from Austria ;)
