That there is chaos in a forest is quite natural and that is also the difficult thing for me when taking photos in the forest: Finding a suitable motif and taking photos in such a way that the viewer can imagine what I want to achieve with the photo.

So I don't really like to take photos in the forest, but I keep trying, again and again ;)

Dass in einem Wald Chaos herrscht, das ist ganz natürlich und das ist für mich auch das Schwierige beim Fotografieren im Wald: Ein geeignetes Motiv zu finden und so zu fotografieren, dass man erkennen kann, was ich mit dem Foto bezwecken will.

Daher fotografiere ich eigentlich nicht gerne im Wald, versuche es aber immer wieder ;)

This tree broke off and remained on the rest of the trunk. Quite a few tree fungi have settled here.

As with the next photo, I have desaturated the areas around the motif a little to reduce the chaos that is evident all around.

Auf diesem abgebrochenen und auf dem unteren Stück des Baumstammes liegen gebliebenen Baum haben sich ziemlich viele Baumpilze angesiedelt.

Wie beim nächsten Foto habe ich die Flächen um das Motiv etwas entsättigt, um das ersichtliche Chaos etwas abzuschwächen.

I have no idea which tree it is, why it loses the bark in strips and what these grooves under the bark are supposed to mean.
Beetles may have eaten their way under the bark, but actually I don't think so.

Ich habe keinerlei Ahnung, um welchen Baum es sich hier handelt, warum er die Rinde in Streifen verliert und was diese Rillen unter der Rinde bedeuten sollen.
Möglicherweise haben sich Käfer unter der Rinde ihre Wege gefressen, aber eigentlich glaube ich das nicht.

I have already said that it is messy here, and you can see it clearly on this pile of trees. These trees are on the way through the gorge.

After the narrow section that can be seen in the front, you come to a larger open space, where you also will find the wooden gallery on the gorge rock face shown in my first post about the Pokljuka Gorge (A Sunrise, a Hike and some History). This wooden bridge on the side of the rock face gets you further into the gorge.

Dass es hier unordentlich ist, habe ich bereits gesagt, und an diesem Haufen Bäume kann man es auch nochmal deutlich sehen. Diese Bäume liegen am Weg durch die Schlucht.

ach der engen Stelle, die vorne zu sehen ist, kommt man zu einer größeren Freifläche, wo man dann auch zu der in meinem ersten Post über die Pokljuka Schlucht (A Sunrise, a Hike and some History) gezeigten Holzgalerie an der Schluchtwand kommt. Über diese hölzerne Brücke an der Felswand kommt man weiter in die Schlucht hinein.
