...An everlasting image...
“The best thing about a picture is that it never changes, even when the people in it do.”
~ Andy Warhol
...in this case, flies.
I captured a shot of a fly that was sitting atop a daisy flower. It is as if he perched himself on the flower just for me to capture a shot of him. The shot was taken using a Canon 80D camera with a 75 -300 mm lens on the macro setting.
I've always been fascinated with nature and all it's living creatures, and have had the luxury recently to capture some really cool shots. However, I feel like this is one of the better shots that I have been able to get. The eyes of the insect perfectly centered, and focused on the camera. The setting blurred, yet still keeping the flowers and fly shots in complete focus.
What I also love about photography, as the quote by Warhol insinuates, is that any photo can tell a story. While to me this shot can mean one thing, someone else can draw their own conclusions. Photography: an art that is never-ending.
After looking at the photo thought come in my mind that how little living things depends on others. Nothing is extra in this world.
I've asked you before @introvert-dime why you vote up all your own replies at basically full strength all the time, but the post itself at VERY low power (around 7% usually it seems) and here is the deal.
It is considered pretty scammy here to do that.
And you have been doing it a long time and it is time to address this poor behaviour.
Once in awhile is fine. Not all day, every day for weeks on end.
That is garbage behaviour here.
You seem to pick high profile posts, or users to do this on always and then vote your comments to the top increasing your visibility and you do this all day long, every day, all the time.
That is frowned upon here, not like you need someone to tell you this behaviour is scammy and poor.
I think I might start pasting this reply into your scammy replies to people, since your replies are all self-voted to the top for VISIBILITY. ALL THE TIME.

Beautiful photography!
Beautiful. The colors look stunning.
Yeah really amazing pic @jgullinese. As long as there is live human and a universe there will always be art. Ted Williams bragged that he could read the writing on a baseball as it was pitched to him. This shot also must have taken tremendous focus and timing to catch just right, very well done!

Love your capture, @jgullinese of that little fella posing! And what a great quote by Andy. A picture is like a time machine. I guess. :) Keep up, friend! Resteemed.

Always loved your photography. Awesome take. Keep it up. Quite fascinating.
THAT is a great quote at the beginning. So very true. A picture captures that moment in time forever. Great post
