¿Porque no me lo comí?/ Why did not I eat it?

Sé que tal vez a muchas personas, no les gusta comer este tipo de alimento en puestos informales, por así llamarlos. Pero les cuento que de paseo por Buenos Aires, Argentina, vi este puesto de una especie de hamburguesas y se veían deliciosas, aparte del olor que despedían, invitaban a saltarse cualquier dieta. Enseguida me encamine al puesto y de pronto siento que algo me frena de manera brusca, era mi esposa, con una mirada de desaprobación y una frase contundente ¨Tu no vas a comer eso, apenas comimos en el hotel, no creo que tengas hambre¨. Yo, trate de ponerme firme y respondí ¨Si voy a comer, se ven ricos¨, pero no pude, ella adopto una postura maternal y me dijo ¨Esta bien, pero ahora no, te lo comes más tarde¨ y yo como buen esposo accedí a hacerle caso. Bueno mis queridos amigos, paso el día y se me olvido, luego pasaron más días y de paseo por uno y otro sitio al final nos vinimos de regreso a nuestro país y no pude disfrutar de esa comida que se vie tan rica. Esta es mi triste historia de por qué no me lo comí. No quiero pensar que la culpa fue de mi esposa, pero algunas veces la veo y pienso que la próxima vez no voy hacerle caso. ¿Qué opinan ustedes?
I know that maybe many people do not like to eat this type of food in informal positions, so to speak. But I tell you that when I walked through Buenos Aires, Argentina, I saw this place as a kind of hamburger and they looked delicious, apart from the smell they gave off, they invited us to skip any diet. Well my dear friends, I spend the day and I forget, then they spent more days and walk around one place and another at the end we came back to our country and I could not enjoy that food that was so rich. This is my sad story of why I did not eat it. I do not want to think that it was my wife's fault, but sometimes I see her and I think that next time I will not listen to her. What do you think?
