UC Davis Arboretum and Public Garden
Salutations my fellow Steemians,
Two years ago my fiancé (then boyfriend) surprised me with a trip to a local Arboretum and public garden. The first photo set is from that trip, and I thought my audience might enjoy some of the scenery. Most of the first set's shots were edited with color correction programs back then, but the sunshine shots over the pond are proudly untouched.
The remaining shots from that visit were color corrected — though, I would like to make it a point that they were edited only for the means of digitally recreating their levels of witnessed, real-life charm.
UC Davis is currently in the process of integrating a new filtration system to allow a wider variety of healthy wildlife. But the first year we went, there was a beautiful accumulation of fallen and burgeoning foliage growing from the top of the pond, making it represent a fluid field in which the otter family we acquainted left languid trails behind their playful paddling. You can spot where they poked their heads out for some air and to regain their bearings.
• This next photo set is from the second surprise trip we took just recently. As you may be able to tell, these photos are untouched by editing (other than cropping). I feel this a neccessary denouncement to achieve honest photography and further hone my rudimentary skills.
The man who deserves all of the credit
Thank you for reading,
I truly hope you enjoyed it,
