I gathered up some half-rotten mangos for my torts to eat
I have been so inspired by the SteemitPhotoChallenge, and I haven't actually used my camera in a long time - mostly I just take iphone photos. So this evening I went in the backyard to take a few. Here's one I took of my dog, Charles

Very cool! I used to have one of these and it musta weighed something like 25-30 pounds, but unfortunately it literally walked out of our yard when my mother left the backyard fence open
Yup, they're experts at finding the way out and will just meander out and down the road! Eventually some angry neighbour calls to say they've found a tortoise has decimated their garden bed :)
No luck there we never got it back :(
Are you in the States? Apparently they are really expensive there, so I guess people would be less likely to try to find the owners? Here they are free.. I have 15 adults, all free. The oldest is about 30 years old. You can see him here with my smallest tort
