In our culture we never leave our parent or old folks in any home for the agent we usually take care of them till their last day. Its our way of giving back the care and love they showed and for raising us. That what family is all about. I know not everyone is like our culture but im glad we have this traits.

True. I don't think it will last though. I hope not. At the end of the day, people will gravitate back towards what they know is good and true and right... I hope!
That's wonderful... Whereabouts do you live? I completely agree, that should be what family is all about. I feel like here in the UK so many people live in small, insular family units that it can become impossible to look after an elderly parent if they need a lot of care around the clock.
Im from Philippines.. even here no matter how small or big our house or no matter how rich or poor the people is. It always important that family is stay together.
