In a nature shot like this, I generally think the B&W reveals the rugged textures of nature more. Color is less of a concern. Trees are green. Rocks are grey-brown.This isn't really necessary information. But the simple monochromatic look reveals the jagged shapes more, and gives more of a visceral sense of nature's rawness.
I would agree with that assessment. I’ve grown quite fond of Monochrome Photography, especially of nature. Thanks for looking @jacobtothe
