One of my favorite images from New Jersey. It may not have had the darkest skies, but I love sitting on the beach and listening to the waves crash as I stare up at the stars.
This image was created by taken 45 minutes worth of long exposures and then stacking them on top of each other in post to create the star trails. A little bit of movement is captured in each photo as the Earth rotates. Stacking the photos in a lighten mode reveals the movement in each image below to create the trails.
