Welcome to the most authentic and impressive monument of ancient Rome, as well as the largest amphitheater in the world. It is said that it represented the Gate of the Underworld where, at nighfall, the souls of the dead wander in search of eternal peace. The bad news is that thay will never find. So watch out if you are hanging out over there during night. Amphitheatrum Flavium, placed exactyl in the center of Rome, can host between 50.000 and 70.000 people and it was built in the area occupied by the enormous house of Nero 's Domus Aurea , built after the great fire of Rome in 64. Today The Big Colossum represent il symbol of Rome and, in some ways, all of Italy. It was classed as a Unesco world heritage site in the 1980.

Si narra che rappresenti la Porta degli Inferi, dove, al calar del sole, le anime dei trapassati vagano alla ricerca della pace eterna. La brutta notizia è che non la troveranno mai. Quindi state attenti quando vagate di notte da quelle parti.
L’ Amphitheatrum Flavium, sito esattamente al centro di Roma, può contenere tra le 50.000 e le 70.000 persone ed è stato edificato nell'area occupata dalla casa di Nerone, la Domus Aurea, costruita dopo il grande incendio di Roma del 64.
Oggi il Grande Colosso rappresenta il simbolo di Roma e per certi versi dell’Italia tutta ed stato proclamato nel 1980 Patrimonio dell’Unesco.

Veramente stupendi questi scatti, complimenti davvero, il primo poi sconfina nello spettacolare, come spettacolare è stata l'impressione che mi ha suscitato quando ho visto il Colosseo per la prima volta dal vivo, semplicemente unico ed irripetibile
