“All good things are wild and free.” Well said! La Palma looks amazing, high up on my list. And I’m thinking of the Atacama desert, Patagonia and Andean mountains when I see “wild and free”.

Look at the Atacama Desert - I had no idea it existed. Thanks for the hint :-)
If you ever plan to travel to Canary Islands, make sure you have enough time to spend a couple of days on each island, especially including Tenerife and Lanzarote (plus the little neighbor La Graciosa). Only by visiting these two you'd cover multiple different climate zones, wildlife areas and landscapes.
