The second half of the day wasn't less interesting)
We went to old Tbilisi! This part of the city with its unique spirit, walking through the old city you filling up with it's soul!
Looking in every courtyard, in every front room, around every corner, you discover for yourself a tiny piece of this city, so unique and mysterious, with it's own history! With every new fragment that you see, you want to see more and more, to put this puzzle entirely, to penetrate the mystery of this city and feel its atmosphere to the depths of soul!
Walking around the city we got a little lost in search of a funicular, but the locals helped us to find a way to it) We were gladly helped not to go astray, told interesting stories about the city and advised to look places which not mentioned in guidebooks. One passer-by invited us to came in and showed us his retro car)
On the funicular we reached Mtatsminda Park, from where you can see a beautiful view of the city. Mtatsminda is a park for rest and amusement.
After walking in the park we descended to the Pantheon of writers and public figures of Georgia. In this place Griboyedov and his wife are buried.
Our day ended with a walk along Rustaveli Avenue. It grew dark, the heat got down and a different life began in the city...)
