Fruit pandanus
Pandan is a group of monocot plants of the genus Pandanus. Most of its members are grown on the beaches of the tropics. Members of this plant are characterized by longitudinal leaves (such as palm or grass leaves), often jagged edges. The root is large and has a tunjang root that sustains this plant. Pandanus fruit is arranged in round-shaped bouquet, like durian fruit. The size of this plant varies, ranging from 50cm to 5 meters, even in Papua many pandanus to a height of 15 meters. The leaves are always green (eternal green, evergreen), so some of them are made into ornamental plants.
