Afternoon Post! Adventure to The Animas River // Newest Blog Post!!

Today turned out to be even better than I was expecting.

I woke up, the sun was out and I felt even more energized more than normal.
The past night had been difficult, stressing about life tends to keep me awake, which usually leaves me exhausted the next morning, but something was different about today.

I rubbed my eyes and looked out the window.
Damn. That mountain looked sooooo good.

After I was finished gawking, I went through the checklist.

☑ Shower
☑ Brush Teeth
☑ Make Food
☑ Put Clothes On
☑ Camera
☑ Coffee!

After I was ready, I walked outside, and climbed in my car and drove to Animas river. In the middle of my drive I actually had to take my coat off because it was too warm.

"Isn't it supposed to be winter right now?" I asked myself.

After a bit more driving I arrived at my destination.

This always been one of my favorite places to sit down and read. It is so quiet, and the sound of the river makes for an incredibly peaceful atmosphere. But, I wasn't here to read today, I was here to finally get to take some photos. I climbed around on the rocks for a bit to find a good angle, and then I aimed my camera.

It was a great day,
Got my daily walk in,
Took some good pictures,
And I got to breath in the crisp air.

I also had a crow randomly squawking at me for most of this shoot.
