Chasing Sunsets in Northern Philippines

It wasn't enough to detour and rushed over to Sta. Catalina Beach to watch the sunset as between the trees west-side of our house, the sun's colourful display as it dipped over the horizon was beckoning for us to have a clearer glimpse, even for just a short while. It didn't take 5 minutes by a motorbike to get there. A coastal road has been recently built changing the old coastline that we're used to from childhood. It can't be helped to wish that it's still the same like before.

Twenty years ago, the shore was still far from the road, having low sand dunes for us to pass through. There's none of those now but instead it have a few beach resorts built a couple of years before the new constructed coastline. With these changes, it quite lessened our coming here to watch the sunset.

Pantay Daya River

Having an errand in Vigan City, we didn't stay long at the beach. The road from there took us to the city quicker compared to our town and crossing the river exactly brought us to Vigan.

This shot was unexpected, we had to stopped in the middle of the bridge for this angle. I must say i'm quite happy with the result.
