Happy Accident - Stories Of A Photographer

My daughter is going to be a senior this year, so we took some time today to get some of her senior session done...of course the littles wanted to come too.

Right off the bat I was struggling with my flash set up, it seemed to work about 10% of the time. I was getting really frustrated so I sent the teenager off for a wardrobe change and tried to figure out the flash issue. I asked my son to step in so I could test the light and this is what we shot. I love everything about this photo!

Of course, once my daughter returned, the flash worked for about 3 more shots. UGH! Time to sit down with my transceiver manual and figure out whats going on. In the meantime, you get to enjoy this awesome portrait that wasn't meant to be.
