Will Prune for Plum Blossoms
Last week I began a #foundflower project to post weekly images of flowers I gather/grow. And already, our home is filling with flowers - both wild harvested and from the garden! Just earlier today, I filled a bucket with plum blossoms from a recent tree pruning. It was such a wonderful reward after a whole week of achy-ness as my body adjusts from winter dormancy to spring gardening.
With nature being soooo beautiful this time of year, I find it hard to spend time on the phone and computer. Yet I also love photographing all this beauty and sharing my love of this amazing life with you. Do you struggle with balancing online/offline worlds? How do you create balance?
Dearheart, please don't make it ever a struggle, and continue with your easy flow. It makes your droppin' in all the more a refreshing joy!
Super late reply to your comment due to said struggle, lol. Your comment made me smile and breathe a sigh of relief. Thank you for that!
AH, I just looove these pictures! The colors and all.
Nice Photografy..
I have definitely struggled with balancing online and offline life. Now that I have babies though, they tend to make those decisions for me, and I am ok with that. But I wasn't always; letting go can be challenging, but necessary. I'm not recommending having children to find balance because boy, oh boy can they shake things up! Now I spend my days with my kids and my nights online. Although, I might sneak online a little while they nap. -Aimee
Noted: no children. I probably shouldn't complain...you are juggling so much more being a mama! Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this matter. I guess we're all trying in our own ways. Susun Weed said in a podcast to stop looking for balance because we'll never find it - perhaps acceptance is the better option :).
Life is always a juggling act, it's just the "balls" look different from person to person. Mmm... The word acceptance has popped up a lot in my life lately and I am starting to think there is something to it. I feel a lot happier when I accept the moment I am instead of trying to fight it. -Aimee
Yep... I dedicate my early morning to steemit... if I get time during the day I do more... on top of homestead work my daughter is in cheer and has tons of activities then the random job here and there added onto my research in science and macro economics, time is a valuable comodity...
Holy moly! You are a busy bee! Indeed, time is a non-renewal resource and so I try to spend it wisely. Well, I'm thankful you chose to spend a few moments on this platform with all of us :).
I really love steemit! so much great information... I have learned a lot and hope to spread a little love as well! I enjoy your posts, though I am limited for time right now things should calm down in a few and be able to do more, been getting lots of pics and things to blog about! Have an awesome weekend, and watch out for the Sun, it will burn you good if your our to long...
