)Perched on top of the highest mountain in Oceania and one of the top seven worlds, the only tropical glacier in Indonesia is not easy to visit.
Jayawijaya, or Mount Cartenz, has become a sacred cup of mountain adventurers, with the Carstensz Pyramid Peak is a highlight not to be missed.
This area has amazing rock formations and some lakes that sometimes seem to float above the clouds.
If you want to see snow at the equator, you have to reserve a lot of stamina and free two full weeks for the expedition (not including trips to and from the mountains).
