Visiting Chocó (Colombia) / Visita al Chocó #4

This photo was taken arriving to the Tiger Waterfall north of El Valle. It was a 20-30 mins by boat and like 3 hours, in no hurry, coming back by foot. The beach is mostly rocky but it also has some sandy places; at some moment we had to go up the hills because the tide was to high to continue on the beach.

Esta foto la tomé llegando a la cascada del Tigre al norte del Valle. Fueron como 20 a 30 minutos en lancha y como 3 horas para regresar a pie y sin afanes. La playa es más bien rocosa y en algunas partes tuvimos que subir a las colinas circundantes porque la marea estaba alta y no podimos pasar por la playa

As you can see the waterfall comes from the forest and goes directly to the sea.
Como se puede ver la cascada viene del bosque y va directamente al mar.

Going up hill you can find multiple natural pools created by the stream almost each time there is another waterfall. When we stopped we had seen more than 4 or 5 and swam a bit in one of the biggest ones. A very nice experience!!!

Empezamos a subir a lo largo de la cascada y había varias piscinas naturales y cascadas creadas por la quebrada en su viaje por la montaña. Cuando nos detuvimos para nadar en una de ellas ya habíamos visto al menos unas 4 o 5 "piscinitas". Una experiencia muy agradable!
