Montañas Colombianas/Colombian Mountains: Cordillera Occidental entre Antioquia y Chocó

Hi everyone,

This picture was taken while flying between Bahia Solano (Chocó) and Medellín (Antioquia). Chocó is one of regions in the world with highest annual precipitation. You have Chocó on the right and it can be seen how cloudy it is, in contrast in the left side (Antioquia) there are no clouds. It is like this is a natural border for clouds with the winds changing direction.

La fotografía fue tomada durante el vuelo de Bahía Solano a Medellín. Choco es una de las regiones en el mundo con la más alta precipitación anual. A la derecha está Chocó, bastante nublado, mientras que a la izquierda no hay ninguna nube. Es como si este punto fuera un límite natural para las nubes con los vientos cambiando de dirección.

Próximamente publicaré algunas fotos de mi visita a Bahía Solano.
