7 Days and 7 Photos of your Favourite Places: Paris Day 4
For most of the year, Place du Tertre in Montmartre is a haven for amateur artists selling their creations and drawing portraits of tourists. We love sitting outside one of the many cafes surrounding the square watching the artists at work and the world passing by.
On a rainy day in December however, we found a solitary artist plying his trade , the cafes empty and Montmartre, normally a hive of activity, was bleak and mostly boarded up.
I'm not an artist, but if the paintings were watercolours, it was very apt on this damp and dreich day
While this has yet to take off, I am enjoying sharing little snippets about the places I love and I hope you can join me.
