It was raining over yonder.
The Badlands are created by erosion. That is all my vacation-tired brain can think of right now.

That's some dramatic scenery, alright! That last picture picked up som many of the colors in the eroded landscape -- so pretty! I'm glad you saw some bighorned sheep, too. Have a great vacation!
